Singapore's Education Minister, Chan Chun Sing, revealed that the Ministry of Education allocates

to international students studying in Singapore

approximately S$238 million annually

in scholarships and tuition fee subsidies

 

Foreign students are only considered for admission to higher education institutions with stricter requirements after all eligible Singaporean students have been admitted.

 

 

Of the S$238 million, 
S$108 million is allocated to tuition fee subsidies, 
while the remaining S$130 million is for scholarships. 
This figure was announced a month ago.
