19 August 2025, SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) announced the launch of two new digital tools for enterprises — TalentTrack and TalentTrack+ — aimed at helping companies better monitor their employees’ training progress and skill development needs.
According to SSG, these tools are part of the Career Health SG initiative, designed to provide businesses with clearer insights into the skill levels required for different job roles. By identifying employees’ skill gaps, companies can offer more targeted training opportunities.
Enhancing Workforce Training Management
To date, more than 7,500 employers across various industries, including security and environmental services, have trialled the tools. Available on the GoBusiness platform, the tools allow companies to track employees’ training progress and skill proficiency, making it easier to align workforce development with business needs.
For instance, local security firm Metropolis Security highlighted that, as security officers are required to undergo regular training, the tools improve manpower deployment efficiency, reduce time spent on manual recordkeeping, and enable the company to arrange necessary training in a timely manner.
Comprehensive Skills-Matching Support
SSG explained that TalentTrack provides baseline skills assessments, while TalentTrack+ offers enhanced features that help employers customise training plans based on industry requirements and job roles. The tools also enable employees and employers to share individual skills information, further supporting long-term career development.
In addition, SSG has partnered with the National Centre of Excellence for Workplace Learning (NACE) to launch Chrysalis, a digital platform that offers companies more options for workforce skills development.
Free Access to Training Courses
Companies can access relevant foundational training courses for free via GoBusiness. This initiative not only helps businesses improve HR and training efficiency but also makes it easier for employees to participate in upskilling, thereby enhancing their professional competitiveness.
